It has a mix of everything, a great playground for little kids, lots of walking trails to explore, a boat launch directly into the river as well as fountains and various types of sports fields plus wide open spaces. There's a pavilion for picnic areas and lots of smaller covered areas to get out of the hot sun. Overall, a great park.
